This project calls for the Demolition, Renovation/Remodel/Repair of a 22,805.00 SF Grocery Store. Project consist of a conversion split of a prior 48,455 SF Winn-Dixie for a new 22,805 SF Aldi grocery store. The other 25,650 SF will be separated by a new demising wall and will be a temporary vacant space for future tenant fit out. After store closure but prior to construction, the store will have been emptied of all products and equipment. Specific details on what will remain and is to be demolished by the general contractor at the start of construction will be noted in the drawings and/or discussed at the pre-bid meeting. A typical conversion project GC scope will consist of but not limited to exterior façade upgrades, storefront modifications, minor roof repairs, selective demo, MEP, fire protection and all interior finishes. This Winn-Dixie does not have a liquor store. For the conversion projects, Aldi will direct hire a refrigeration, fire alarm/security, low voltage and the sales floor magnetic tile installing contractor. The anticipated construction start date is: January 26th, 2025 IMPORTANT: Site visits are NOT allowed prior to Wednesday, October 29th, 2025. All site visits after this date must be requested and coordinated through us.
