Lanier Technical College Building B Advanced Technology Cumming, GA

The project scope is mainly limited to interior alteration, renovation and upgrades within Type IIB construction, with the exception of a new covered canopy at the back of the building and limited replacement of exterior glazing. The renovation will include special redesign of building program to accommodate the colleges advanced technology labs, Horticulture, Interiors, Design Media, and General classrooms. The redesign incorporates existing utility systems and reconfigures fixtures per the new space layouts and client needs. Deductive alternates have been identified by the school and are represented throughout the set of documents. Upgrades include new student collaboration areas and a new student success center for the campus off the main lobby. Utility upgrades include fire alarm, boilers, pumps, water heaters, and a sub panel added for new equipment servicing the advanced tech lab.
