We have been selected to serve as the Construction Manager and General Contractor for Paulding County Schools in the construction of a new classroom addition, to be constructed at 2223 Cartersville Highway, Dallas, Georgia 30132. The solicitation is for the building packages for the new construction of an approximately 25,000 SF classroom addition for the Paulding County School District. Work is scheduled to begin in August 2024 with a mandatory final project completion for the complete school construction in early-June 2025. Proposals will be received at 1:00 PM (EST) on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Bids should be submitted on the provided Proposal Form with the relevant Work Package notation on the form. Subcontractors bidding Work Packages with base bids over $50,000.00 will be required to provide a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Bidders will also be required to provide the costs associated with providing 100% Performance & Payment Bonds and should provide the added cost of these bonds on the Proposal Form in the space provided. Subcontracts and purchase orders will be issued directly to the successful bidders. We reserve the right to award subcontracts and purchase orders for the project based on the criteria of scope inclusiveness, firm history and capability, financial stability, ability to provide bonds, cost, etc. in the best interest of the project and Owner. Bidders should refer to the following provided Work Package List for the selection of the package(s) your firm intends to submit a bid. Next, refer to the related individual Work Package Description, which provides work scope details. Questions and RFI’s about the bid documents shall be submitted by Monday, June 3rd at noon. Responses shall be addressed through addenda. Combination work package bids will be accepted as long as separate individual work package bids are also submitted for each package. Please submit combination bids that clearly state which work packages are being combined in the scope of the combination bid, i.e.: list all work packages included in the combination bid in the appropriate row on the bid form.
