Wake County Detention Annex Raleigh, NC

Site work and renovation of a detention facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade detention facility; and one-story above grade detention facility. Renovations to the existing Wake County detention annex building, originally constructed in 1988, with an addition added in 2001. The facility, which has been closed since 2013, is to be renovated and updated to comply with North Carolina Jail Standards. This includes work on space layouts, architectural finishes, detention furniture and components, utility upgrades, and site work. The work also involves construction of a new open-air shelter to provide cover for Owner-provided storage containers.
