Summary:
1. Demolish existing fencing and sidewalks as shown and remove them from the site.
2. Install standard and traffic-rated sidewalks and ramped retaining curb walls where
shown.
3. Install new vinyl-coated chain link fencing and gates of height and type as shown on
the plans, including walk gates, drive gates, and cantilevered gates.
B. Site work: Provide drainage swales where shown and sod-disturbed areas.
C. Buildings: No work in any buildings.
D. Schedule: Refer to Section 00100, Instructions to Bidders.
Sealed bids will be received by the Clay County School Board until
2:00pm on Monday, 9 September 2024,
in the Purchasing Conference Room,

at which time and place all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud for furnishing all labor
and materials for the construction of:

Work includes removal, replacement and new installation of chain link fencing and concrete sidewalks.
Complete scope is included in the Drawings and Specifications.

Addenda will be posted with the plan room listed above. Partial sets of drawings and/or specifications
are not advised and neither the architect nor owner will be responsible for partial information given to
subcontractors by the general contractors. Electronic drawings and specifications will not be
distributed.
There will be Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting at the site on Tuesday, 27 August 2024, at 10:00am per
Section 00100, Part 9.2. Bidders not attending the pre-bid meeting will not be permitted to
submit a bid. The last addendum will be issued no later than Friday, 30 August, 2024
Only contractors having been pre-qualified by the Clay County School District are eligible to submit
bids for this project. Only pre-qualified Contractors should submit bids for this project (Florida
Statutes).
