Project Description: Construction of a new Chick-fil-A at an old Quik Trip location. The project is tracking a start date of June 3rd for the site work. The building permit is tracking for mid to late July with a turnover date of Nov. 1st. This building will not have a dine-in option and will be a drive-thru-only option. The existing building will need to be demolished. The fuel tanks have been removed, however, we will have to remove the remaining pump lines, electrical lines, canopy footings, etc. Once the demolition is complete, the site will be graded to the proposed contours. New storm drainage will be installed and tied into the existing system. The water will get a new 2” meter and BFP while the irrigation meter will be reused. The sewer will include 2 grease traps for the restaurant and another for the dumpster. It will tie into the existing line along Preston Creek Drive. Currently, the plans call for asphalt paving throughout most of the parking lot. We need to provide an alternate to provide all concrete paving. The concrete scope will include new curb & gutter, sidewalks, drive-thru paving, and canopy footings. There is a decorative fence that must be installed along the main ROW’s. It will include 2’x2’ stone columns with a three-rail fence with all boards painted black similar to the existing Chick-fil-A located across the interstate. The building is a stick frame building supported on shallow footings. The exterior will be a brick facade with a storefront. The roof is a Duro-Last, 50-mil, PVC roofing system. The interior will have drywall, paint, FRP, stainless steel, floor and wall tile, installation of owner-supplied furniture and millwork, doors, and new MEP systems.
