The site is an old parking lot with asphalt and concrete paving that will be demolished. The existing sewer line will be abandoned and filled with grout per the AHJ’s requirements. Once the demo is complete, the site will be graded to the new contours. New storm drainage will be installed and tied into the existing system in two locations. The new sewer line will into an existing manhole along Skyland Blvd and include the reclaim system. Similarly, the new water service will tap the existing main along Skyland and will include a new 2” service to the building and 1” irrigation line. The parking lot will be primarily concrete paving with a new asphalt driveway, new curb & gutter, and new sidewalks. Finally, new landscaping, irrigation, striping, and signage will be installed. The building will be a steel structure, with metal stud framing, and wood trusses for the roof. Instead of the architectural wall panels (AWP) shown on the plans, we need to price it with stone veneer and EIFS. There will be new storefront along the tunnel and at the operator booth. The building will be supported with shallow footings. This building will have prefabricated equipment and mechanical room. These will be set above a crawl space with poured foundation walls.
