Alleghany County Courthouse Sparta, NC

DESCRIIPTION OF PROJECT:  Renovations to the Alleghany County Courthouse in Sparta, NC.   Work includes Civil, Landscaping, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Alarm work. The project involves windows, boilers, and fire alarm replacement, a new BAS system, lighting and finish upgrades as well as sitework to provide accessible parking spaces and a new entrance walkway into the building. Window replacement of all existing windows, exterior trim repainting, replacing the boiler, adding HVAC control system, replacing the fire alarm system, replacing lights with new LED lighting and interior finish upgrades in the courtroom. Site preparation for brick and concrete hardscape including a site stair, new accessible ramp from the parking area and repaved / reconfigured asphalt accessible parking spaces.
